How to play Vegas Strip Blackjack
Begin the hand of Blackajck by setting your ante – the minimum bet is $1 while the maximum is $200. Click on ‘deal’ to receive your cards. The goal of the game is to make a hand whose value is as close to 21 without going over.
This variety of the game is played with four decks of cards. You are also allowed to double down on all amounts dealt, which means that you can rack up wins and losses fairly quickly. Note that if you do choose to double, you must do so only after receiving your initial hand. You also receive exactly one more card in this case; no more and no fewer.
Players are also allowed to ‘split’ anytime they receive two of the same card. This creates a separate hand for which you must re-ante an amount equivalent to your initial bet. Finally, you are allowed to ‘purchase’ insurance in case the dealer receives an ace face up before the dealer checks the face down card. This can offset your losses in case the dealer does indeed have a natural blackjack.
