Close to 1,700 people in Singapore are under investigation for various offences, ranging from online gambling to the possession of prohibited goods. A five-week enforcement blitz led by constabulary saw nightclubs raided, as well as the dismantling of an online casino. Close to 2,000 officers from constabulary land divisions were deployed in to a greater extent than than 300 anti-crime operations islandwide.
