Gyp Casino is a Swedish stone drummer, best known as the original drummer of the Finnish glam/hard stone band Hanoi Rocks. Casino appeared on the first three Hanoi albums, BANGKOK SHOCKS, SAIGON SHAKES, HANOI ROCKS, ORIENTAL BEAT, and SELF-DESTRUCTION BLUES. In 1982, he was replaced by Nicholas ”Razzle” Dingley. Later, Casino recorded and played with bands like Pelle Almgren, Rolene, Roadrats, and Andy McCoy’s Live Ammo. Two weeks ago, the original Hanoi Rocks held a press conference in Helsinki and announced that the band would reunite and plays a present on the 23’rd of September of 2022. We met a good-humored Gyp in Helsinki ane day before the historic concert.
